My youngest son, Matthew, was struggling academically in another school. After several failed attempts to get this addressed so that he could receive the help he needed, I began to search out private schools to get him the help he needed. I spoke with Mrs. Sharon Hill who was very welcoming and did a great job of advocating for St. Paul Lutheran School.
My only deterrent was if we could afford the tuition. When the new administration was installed at the school Matthew attended, things got worse for him. It was then that I decided I would reconsider St Paul Lutheran School. I took a tour, met the staff and loved the small class sizes, the Christian education, which is very important to us, and the curriculum. I learned that St. Paul Lutheran School has a scholarship program that enabled me to provide my children with a wonderful opportunity for a good education. Once Matthew started attending, the teacher and staff paid attention and took notice right away that my son may have a learning disability.
It was the small class size and one on one instruction that benefitted Matthew’s learning experience. This proved to me and I was absolutely confident, we made the right choice for our family. Finally, someone showed as much concern as I did. I felt heard as a parent. The teachers kept in communication with me and we became a team for my children’s academic needs. My children have thrived and were well prepared for secondary education. I have no regrets. I have become an advocate for private education and I often share with others about St. Paul Lutheran School. We hope to build a legacy and I plan to continue to support the school when I can.
Sincerely Grateful,
